Kim Jong Il is dead.  The North Korea leader shunts off to the big custom train carriage in the sky.  What the bloody hell now?

Also, David Shearer is now the leader of the Labour Party (god, that’s how behind on the news we are) and today announced his shadow cabinet.  Which, yes, is the opposite of a sun bed, funny guy.  Is this the rejuvenation we’ve all been clamouring for, or has the mould just been painted over like a bad student flat?
